Machine Description

The CORMAK H-50/70 double-column band saw is a high-performance machine for semi-automatic cutting cycles of solid materials and profiles made of steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The double-column design provides increased rigidity during the cutting process, and the use of a completely different arm and blade guiding technology compared to scissor-type machines significantly reduces cutting time and increases precision.

In the CORMAK H-50/70 semi-automatic band saw, once the switch is activated, the entire cutting cycle—including clamping the material in the hydraulic vise, engaging blade feed, lowering the saw arm (with stepless speed adjustment), stopping the machine after the cut, raising the arm (raise height adjustable), and releasing the hydraulic vise—takes place automatically. Manual operation is simplified and limited only to moving the material to the end stop. The robust arm made from a single cast iron piece, combined with a well-designed, heavy and stable construction, ensures exceptional rigidity of the CORMAK H-50/70, resulting in reliable operation and very high cutting accuracy.

Blade tensioning provides optimal working conditions for the band. Should the blade break, the machine stops automatically. Precision blade guidance is ensured by guides made of bearings and carbide inserts.
