Horizontal metal band saw with swivel arm enabling cuts perpendicular to the axis of the material, as well as at any angle from 0° to 60°. The drive from the electric motor is transmitted to the band wheel via a MECHANICAL gearbox (not belt-driven). The saw blade is tensioned on two cast iron wheels using a manual tensioner and guided through a set of bearing-mounted rollers.

Material can be fed either manually or with any mechanical device, while the tool feed occurs by gravity, utilizing oil flow in a dual-chamber hydraulic cylinder. The desired arm descent speed is achieved using a valve regulating oil flow between chambers. The blade guides are equipped with bearing-mounted rollers, which significantly impact blade guidance, service life, straightness, accuracy, and cut quality.

The rigid arm is made of PROFILED CAST IRON. The control panel is positioned by the arm.

The base is constructed as a rigid welded steel sheet body. Inside is a separate coolant tank with an electric pump. The top part of the base forms a tray for coolant drainage and chip collection. A cast iron worktable with a swiveling arm and a control panel on a separate arm are mounted to the base. During cutting, the main cutting movement is the motion of the saw blade, with arm descent providing feed. Descent speed (cutting speed) is regulated by the hydraulic cylinder.

In the arm's lowest position (after completing the cut), the saw blade drive is automatically disengaged. Safety is ensured by blade covers and micro switches that stop the motor after a cycle is completed or when any cover is opened; additional safety is provided by automatic shut-off in case of blade breakage.
