CORMAK IMET CUBO 400NC FLAT

The CUBO 400 NC model is a state-of-the-art band saw, ensuring maximum operator safety with specially designed sheet metal guards that protect all four sides and all moving parts of the saw. The guard system allows full access to the machine and easy maintenance.

An innovative and user-friendly 7" touchscreen with an intuitive interface provides full control over all machine settings. Up to 99 cutting programs and 10 different cutting lengths per bar can be programmed.

CNC control gives access to all machine operating functions: automatic blade thickness calculation, stroke repetition counter, blade speed and blade descent speed settings. The interface also allows for monitoring the operating status of the CUBO and diagnosing malfunctions thanks to the self-diagnostic feature.

An integrated feeder enables automatic repetition of the cutting process. The feeder moves on a hardened and chromed guide, ensuring high positioning accuracy via a precision ball screw with a backlash-free (self-braking) motor, mounted on a floating plate to absorb load in the case of irregular bars.

The saw frame is a rigid cast iron construction made from square-section tubes, offering high resistance to deformation and better performance with any type of cut material. The bow is equipped with a worm screw and a high-durability bronze alloy crown.

A mechanical material detection device accelerates blade approach to the material, automatically detecting the first cut point. End-of-cutting is controlled by a microswitch on the blade guide, allowing for perfect blade positioning thanks to hardened metal pads and additional bearings.

IMET automatic machines can be connected to the company network and operated remotely via the SAWFACTORY system and modem. SAWFACTORY is dedicated software enabling cutting process management from the office, with program setting and work monitoring through a web application. The software also allows for remote technical support.
