Features of the RGE30PW Tapping Machine

The electric tapping machine is a versatile device for thread creation, suitable for use in both large factories and smaller workshops. Its main advantage is the reduction of threading cycle time, significantly increasing overall process efficiency.

The machine has a straightforward and compact construction, fitted with a movable head to enhance versatility. It is powered by a robust servo drive, delivering strong and reliable performance. For operator convenience, the tapping arm features a touch control panel with an intuitive Polish-language menu. This panel allows for easy programming of tapping parameters such as spindle speed, threading direction, and cutting depth.

Standard equipment includes a micro-spray system, ensuring effective tool cooling with minimal lubricant consumption. Additionally, the unit is fitted with a chip blower to clear swarf and maintain a clear view of the drilling area. The arm is equipped with a quick-change chuck for rapid tap changes, suitable for both through and blind holes. The head can be positioned vertically and horizontally within 90°, and rotated left or right by 180°. Compared to manual tapping, this machine offers higher precision and reliability while maintaining a strict right angle (90°) to the workpiece.

The tapping collet chucks are fitted with adjustable overload clutches. The set includes holders for DIN taps from M6 to M30, granting a broad application range for various thread sizes. The torque settings are preset for standard DIN tap sizes, but can be adjusted using the included special key.

Additionally, the machine features a manual mode, allowing the operator full control over the threading process. There is also an option for programming a cyclic reverse motion, which helps break chips and maintain process efficiency. These features provide enhanced flexibility and precision in thread cutting operations.
