- The CORMAK 460 x 1500 universal lathe is suitable for various operations such as internal and external turning, taper turning, polishing, metric, imperial, module, and DP threading, drilling, and broaching.
- The solid cast iron bed construction ensures maximum vibration reduction. Additionally, the bed is hardened and precisely ground. The bed width of 300 mm provides stable and precise working conditions.
- Digital readout operates on three movement axes: longitudinal, cross, and top slide. The processed electronic signal from optical scales displays the obtained movement values on the digital display.
- The lathe is equipped with a high-quality reinforced spindle bearing system.
- Optimal performance is ensured by a large 80 mm spindle bore, 250 mm 3-jaw chuck, and a powerful 5.5 kW motor.
- The rapid feed system for both longitudinal and cross axes significantly reduces machining time and increases productivity.
- Hardened and ground gears in the spindle gearbox ensure long-term operational stability.
- Equipped with a leadscrew and feed shaft for thread cutting and automatic longitudinal and cross feeds.

- Thread dial indicator for accurate thread pitch counting. This feature saves time, allowing the half-nut to be disengaged easily during multiple passes and quickly returning the carriage to its original position.
- The bed is fitted with a removable gap bridge for machining large-diameter workpieces, such as flanges. This lathe model allows machining up to a maximum diameter of 690 mm with the gap bridge removed.
