Design and Technology

The core of the CORMAK TORNADO 460x1000 lathe is its massive, precisely machined cast iron bed, guaranteeing stability under all conditions. The D1-8 spindle, mounted on a reinforced bearing system, offers high rigidity and smooth operation at speeds from 25 to 2000 rpm. Thanks to hardened and ground gears, the spindle gearbox is exceptionally durable and operates quietly.

Precision and Performance

An integrated digital position readout in X and Z axes allows for precise tool positioning, ensuring high repeatability of machining processes. A rapid traverse joystick simplifies carriage movements and reduces setup time. The threading dial makes it easy for the operator to synchronize the carriage without recalculating thread turns.
