DEA (brown & sharpe) DEA FIVE

The FIVE clamping system consists of a series of height-adjustable columns that serve as workpiece holders. The columns are available in various heights, allowing workpieces to be inspected in their final installation position.

An air cushion at the base of the columns ensures smooth movement across the measuring plate. Powerful magnets lock the column in place as soon as the air supply is reduced.

The measuring software guides a gripper, mounted on the spindle of the measuring machine, to the correct position. This allows the operator to quickly place the column at the calculated target point.

A wide selection of interchangeable support and clamping modules enables the configuration of specific referencing modules for each clamping position. These referencing modules ensure the workpiece can be repeatedly attached to the FIVE column with precision. This makes it possible to remove and remount the workpiece from the measuring table at will.

Accessories can be upgraded with new components according to customer requirements.
