The FiberFlow F50 cooling die from DIL Engineering GmbH is offered for sale—a specially developed solution for structuring alternative proteins in high moisture extrusion (HME). This cooling die is ideally suited for research and development applications and allows for the targeted production of fibrous, meat-like textures, highly sought after for modern meat and fish alternatives as well as for snacks and convenience products.

The FiberFlow F50 is designed for a throughput of up to 50 kg/h and features a rectangular geometry to ensure optimal flow guidance and fiber formation. The system has a modular design and can be configured with either one or two segments depending on requirements. Additionally, one or two separate cooling circuits are available, providing precise temperature control and, consequently, consistently high product quality. Integration of inline measurement systems is possible, enabling continuous process monitoring and optimization.

Special attention has been paid to hygienic design, ensuring the system meets the stringent demands of the food industry. The thoughtful construction allows for easy and quick cleaning, which is particularly advantageous in development operations.
