This is a new machine manufactured in Romania by the company Emsil. Customer specifications can be accommodated depending on technical feasibility and are subject to prior review by the manufacturer's engineering department.

About the spindles:

Narwhal is equipped with a boring spindle made of hardened, tempered, and alloyed steel, mounted with preloaded angular contact precision ball bearings.
The machine also features a milling and boring bar capable of handling exceptional performance and torque. The bar is constructed from nitrided, alloyed steel and is also equipped with angular preloaded precision ball bearings. It operates on bronze guide bushings.
The clamping devices for both units, which serve to attach and release the ISO 50 taper tool holder, open and close automatically.

Rotary Table:
Table rotation is achieved via a double-pinion gear drive, a central supported shaft, and a hydrostatic slide block in the central bearing dimensioned to ensure maximum precision even under heavy, unbalanced loads.
A recirculating ball system is used for the X axes. Both axes are equipped with a direct measuring system.

CNC Axis Control:
All 9 axes of the machine are continuously monitored. The monitoring system is equipped with a 15'' TFT screen, operator panel, remote diagnostics to alert users in the event of faults, user memory, network connectivity, remote process control, integrated PLC, etc.
The machine is compatible with various control systems, including Heidenhain, Fanuc, Siemens, and others.
You can select the machining sizes for X/Y and Z axes: from 1200 - 3500 / 1000 - 3500 / 400 - 1500 mm as per your requirements.
