The band sawmill was purchased second-hand in 2004/2005, reinstalled by Esterer, but was never put into full operation, as almost all cutting was done with the frame saw.

Since 2004, the band saw has only run for 500 operating hours!

The sharpening machines were purchased second-hand in 2007 and have been stored covered on pallets or wooden structures in a dry, heated garage.

As the band saw was never put into full operation, installation of the sharpening equipment was always postponed, so today the machines are still in the condition as delivered.

All operating manuals, descriptions, and wiring diagrams are neatly stored in a box.

In 2018 and 2023, the machines were cleaned outdoors to remove surface dust, lightly oiled with graphite spray, and then stored back in the garage!
