FAG (nowadays under Bobst) speedproof 4C

EN-Paper size: 730 x 1060 mm; maximum printing area: 710 x 1040 mm. Paper thickness: 0.05 mm – 0.5 mm. The current maximum speed (set to simulate the time for sheet removal on high-speed presses) is 4,000 sheets per hour, but the machine can run significantly faster for commercial work. Four-fold central impression cylinder, which processes all four printing units in one gripper cycle.

1988 FAG Speedproof with a control console for ink fountains and cylinder adjustment for extremely precise register printing. Attached is the original factory brochure. The machine has been completely dry-ice cleaned and the cylinders are in excellent condition.

The machine is offered strictly as-is.
Maximum width is 225 cm, maximum height is 230 cm; shipping in a High Cube container is possible.

The price is absolutely non-negotiable and is based on removal of parts that could otherwise be sold separately, such as the Mabeg feeder with vacuum belt, and the four-unit Baldwin stainless steel recirculator, each color with its own tank, mixer, and individual temperature control—so all four tanks can be set to different temperatures and alcohol contents.

The machine has been dry-ice cleaned, and the original intention was for it to be used in electronic paper printing, but the project was abandoned due to excessive startup losses.

We have had the machine for three years and, due to its size, I want to sell it as quickly as possible. That is why it is offered at this very low price. It is an excellent machine.

If the machine needs to be set up for testing and trial runs, this can be arranged at an extra cost of €10,000, of which €5,000 must be paid in advance as a deposit under certain conditions.
