The PUR 2 kg light eSmart bag melter is suitable for edge banding machines with lower adhesive consumption.
Tank size fits all standard commercial PUR bag packaging in sizes 2-3 kg.
Modular design: all components can be replaced individually. Simply remove the metal housing to quickly access all relevant components.
Melting capacity up to 2 kg/h (depending on adhesive and viscosity).

The solid PUR adhesive, wrapped in aluminum foil, is placed in the tank. There, the adhesive is gently melted on demand.
A glue reservoir is located beneath the tank, where a maximum of 0.7 kg of adhesive is kept in liquid form.
From there, the adhesive is transported by a gear pump via an FE-MA-TECH® hot melt hose through an application head (heated valve) to the application devices (IMA, Homag, etc.).
The unit is completely airtight. When used correctly, the adhesive can remain in the machine for several months.
