The Fill 3D-Ultrasonic Cutter enables three-dimensional contour trimming of fiber-reinforced plastics using ultrasonic-activated cutting systems.

The principle:
The linear axis gantry ensures precise guidance of the ultrasonic blade, requiring little space and simple kinematics.

With the Siemens CNC control 840 D, the trimming fixture can be programmed in the same way as a machine tool.
Tool corrections or path modifications can be carried out directly and easily at the machine.
The machine is equipped as standard with a 20 kHz ultrasonic cutting unit; alternative systems can also be installed.
The blade features a separate rotary axis, enabling the cutting of tight radii and reducing the need for additional axis movements (5 + 1 axes).
