Designed for quality control weighing of cartons travelling on the conveyor belt, with 20 g accuracy. (Specifically, the unit was used for cartons with glass bottles – full bottle inspection).

Cartons can move consecutively on the conveyor. The checkweigher’s conveyor system automatically spaces the cartons for accurate weighing. (Spacing is achieved by alternating speeds of slower and faster conveyors.)

Measuring range: 400 g to 20,000 g (0.4–20 kg)

If a carton weighs incorrectly, it is ejected from the conveyor using a pneumatic piston onto a designated inspection area, and the checkweigher signals an alert with a red beacon and acoustic alarm to prompt the operator for further inspection. (The unit continues normal operation for subsequent cartons after rejecting an incorrect one.)
