Pipe Cutting Machine FZH VARIO 2 with 2.9 m Magazine (Year of Manufacture: 2016)

Automatic pipe cutting system VARIO 2 by FZH Maschinenbau GmbH, built in 2016. The line is designed for cutting round pipes to length and was previously used in series production of furniture fittings. The system consists of a magazine with separation system, feed unit, pipe cutting head, as well as extraction and deburring units.

Application area:
– automatic serial cutting of round pipes
– pipe diameters approx. Ø 6.0–78.0 mm
– wall thickness approx. 0.1–1.5 mm (plastic up to approx. 2.0 mm)
– cut lengths from approx. 70 mm, typical lengths 200–1,200 mm
– suitable for steel pipes (e.g., E195) and various other pipe materials

Machine basic data (excerpt according to manufacturer’s documents):
– Pipe diameter: outer Ø 6.0 mm to 78.0 mm
– Wall thicknesses: 0.1–1.5 mm (plastic up to 2.0 mm)
– Cut lengths: 70–700 mm in one feed stroke, longer lengths by re-gripping
– Minimum cut length: 70 mm
– Shortest scrap length: 150 mm
– Raw tube lengths: supplied as meter goods or from coil
– Cycle time for cutting only: approx. 4 s (material-dependent)
– Feed of 200 mm pipe length: approx. 2 s
– Feed of 500 mm pipe length: approx. 5 s
– Feed of 1,200 mm pipe length: approx. 16 s
