These conveyors can be manufactured according to application and dimensions. As with the general structure and belt system, hinged belt conveyors are durable as long as they are regularly maintained.

Hinged belt conveyors are used for transporting a wide range of long, coarse, curled, and flaky chips made from transmission steel, tool steel, aluminum alloys, and other materials such as Teflon, Delrin, etc. Hinged belt conveyors are the most commonly used type of chip conveyors.

They are systems designed to transport chips from the production process and to separate cutting oil/coolant from the chips. Hinged belt conveyors can be manufactured with or without a tank for recirculating the cutting oil/coolant back into the system.

In our standard production, we use four types of chain pitches: 31.75, 38.10, 50.80, 63.50. The chain pitch is selected according to the volume of chips to be conveyed, and the width and length of the conveyor, motor, and gearbox are chosen based on the hourly amount of chips to be conveyed. Coolant recycling is also considered in this selection.

The conveyor can be controlled either via a control panel or through the CNC control of a machine tool using a plug connection.
