They are systems designed to transport chips from the production process and to separate cutting oil/coolant from the chips. The chain pitch is selected according to the volume of chips to be conveyed, and the width and length of the conveyor, motor, and gearbox are chosen based on the hourly amount of chips to be conveyed. Coolant recycling is also considered in this selection. The conveyor can be controlled either via a control panel or through the CNC control of a machine tool using a plug connection.
