Longitudinal saw, also suitable for cross-cutting. It is particularly well-suited for edging lumber slabs and subsequently cutting to width prior to planing. This machine makes ripping much easier compared to conventional saws, even those equipped with a carriage. It can operate in automatic or semi-automatic cycles. The unit offers four position settings for the saw aggregate depending on the element length, meaning the aggregate does not need to return all the way to the end of the machine, thereby reducing cutting time. It significantly facilitates and accelerates the handling and preparation of lumber for planing, with straight cuts allowing for time savings during subsequent planing. Operation is relatively safe, as the operator does not have direct contact with the material during the cut—the workpiece is clamped from above by a pressure beam with pneumatic actuation. The pressure beam and saw aggregate feed are controlled via a foot pedal. The machine is also adapted for cutting panels with a scoring unit. It comes equipped with accessories for various applications. Ideally suited for small and medium-sized carpentry workshops processing thick, massive lumber. The machine is heavy-duty and durable.
