General Description:
CNC manual input control with programming via function and numeric keypad. All data entry in dialog with the screen. Integrated menu navigation and plaintext display of all functions. Control keypad, screen, and handwheel in a separate chip guard hood.
The EPL control offers the following possibilities:
Programs can be entered and modified without prior programming knowledge, directly by operator guidance through the EPL control.
NC programs in ISO/EIA format can be entered and output via serial RS 232 interface, or entered directly by hand.

Machining Cycles:
Roughing cycles for longitudinal, facing, and contour turning, also with excess allowance. Threading. Undercuts according to DIN 509 Form E and F and DIN 76, and programmable grinding allowances. Axial and radial grooves to DIN 471 and 472, also with bottom finishing. Radii at 90° and chamfers at 45°. Automatic tool nose compensation for cycles, undercut, groove, radius, and chamfer.

Programming:
Block-oriented, metric/inch, diameter input in absolute mode, radius in incremental mode, full circle programming, subprogram technology with skip levels for program sections. Zero point offset. Operating mode selection via menu.
Program input and output:
Dialog via menu with operator guidance or direct dialog input.
