The HERBOLD Plastcompactor is a system for agglomerating films, fibers, shavings, dust, and flakes. Low-flowability waste is transformed into agglomerate with high bulk density and excellent flow properties, making it suitable for direct feeding into extruders and injection molding machines.

The plant offered for sale is equipped with a main drive motor rated at 110 kW and achieves a throughput of 600 to 2,000 kg/h, depending on feedstock. All thermoplastic plastics can be processed, including sensitive materials such as PET, PA, and bioplastics, which can be agglomerated without thermal damage or discoloration.

The system comprises a feed device with silo, the compactor itself, a downstream granulator with screening unit, and fine material recirculation.

Optionally, a pre-shredding unit tailored to your requirements can be offered. Trials for suitability and sampling can be conducted at our in-house technical center.

As the manufacturer of this equipment, we provide full service and spare parts support.
