Approach:
The press moves to the zero point at up to 90 mm/second. The positioning accuracy is 0.5 mm or better.
Return:
The press moves back to the end point at up to 90 mm/second. The accuracy here is 0.5 mm or better.

The dwell time is adjustable from 0 to 10 seconds (in increments of 0.1 seconds).
The press force can be adjusted between 10 and 40 tons (in bar).

Further control details:
The control system can be locked with a key switch. The key switch for the control system has the following functions:
- Manual operation via two-hand control at 9.5 mm/sec in setup mode. (Stops at any desired position when the switches are released.)
- Manual operation for bending tasks at up to 9.5 mm/sec using two-hand control and automatic return to top dead center when both two-hand buttons are released.
- Automatic operation with secure tooling at up to 200 mm/sec. This function is labeled with a warning on the control panel.

In automatic mode, the machine may only be used with fully enclosed, secure tooling—this information is clearly displayed on the front of the machine.
In manual setup mode, the machine can also be operated via the two-hand control at a maximum of 9.5 mm/sec. Bending operations can also be performed in setup mode. A key selector switch is used to toggle between automatic and manual operation.

Position adjustment for top and bottom dead center as well as switching position for speed reduction is managed via sensors that are adjustable on a chrome-plated rod. A clamping thread allows for fine sensor adjustment—accuracy is +/- 0.5 mm.
