Control function:
The linear scale provides the control system with the position of the ram and the ejectors at all times. The travel path, the upper stop, and the switching point (where the press switches from rapid traverse to working speed) as well as the target end position can be easily and quickly entered via the monitor controls.
Working speed can be set in increments of 1 mm/sec from 0 to 10 mm/sec and in increments of 10 mm from 10 to 300 mm/sec.
Additionally, the machine is equipped with pressure monitoring, which can either retract the ram as soon as the desired pressure is reached or maintain the pressure for the pre-set time (with 5% tolerance) and then open.
The control system monitors the protected areas, all hydraulics, the pumps, and the temperature.
It also monitors the parallelism of the main cylinders and compensates for unilateral overload.
The control system is housed in a separate control cabinet.
Operation of the press is via a control panel mounted on a swivel arm, reducing operator movement.
