Dowel and slot boring machine HOFFMANN HR 150

Very good condition, like new; the machine comes from an assembly company and shows hardly any signs of use—it’s practically brand new. It was only used for a few modification jobs and is now being sold because it has been idle in recent years.

Allows for milling of elongated slots and drilling of dowel holes on two levels without repositioning the workpiece.

With this machine, you can mill elongated holes for e.g. lock cases and similar applications, and produce all types of dowel joints at right angles, butt joints, and mitre joints.

Ideal for manufacturing dowel joints in timber frame construction, furniture, door, window and staircase production, as well as similar tasks.

Thanks to the ability to drill on two levels, via stops and indexing, and the machine's set-up, dowel joints can be produced in no time, making the machine extremely efficient.

Requires a compressed air connection with 6 bar pressure (air consumption is very low).

Supplied with:
- Mobile base
- 2 stops (left and right) on the machine table, plus a 45° mitre fence
- 2 foldable workpiece supports
- 3 drill holders for bits with 16mm or 12mm shank and for drill bits with M10 thread

Workpiece clamping is achieved using 2 pneumatic clamping cylinders operated via a foot pedal, allowing you to hold the workpiece with both hands.

Height adjustment between drilling levels is also pneumatic. The pneumatic switch is located on top of the indexing adjustment lever for quick shifting between stops and drilling levels.

Fitted with a precision 12mm indexing rail with central index and 13 indexing positions left and right.

Each drilling level features a highly accurate counter, enabling quick and precise height adjustment for both levels.

Can also be used as a slot boring machine, with 2 adjustable stops left and right. Max working travel width is 500mm.

Features a front fence on the machine table which can be lowered as required.
