Hosokawa Bepex BX 150

Unused Hosokawa Bepex extruder, model BX 150, constructed from stainless steel (AISI 316), designed for low-pressure extrusion. This machine produces products with an open structure, large surface area, and good forming properties. The processed product is fed into the unit through the inlet opening. Inside the extrusion chamber, there are two counter-rotating rotors.

- The upper rotor is a 2-arm design with additional scrapers for mixing and conveying material downward. The rotor is driven via a gearbox by a 0.55 kW, 60 Hz electric motor, with adjustable speed in the range of approx. 14 – 139 rpm.

- The lower rotor features a 3-arm design with curved arms and rotor knives. The product is compacted and forced through a screen by the lower rotor. Granule diameter depends on the screen perforation size. The rotor is driven via a gearbox by a 3.0 kW, 60 Hz electric motor, with adjustable speed approximately 15 – 144 rpm.

Includes (2) extrusion screens with 2 mm diameter perforations, 1.2 mm screen thickness, and a control panel with integrated controls. Mounted on a stainless steel frame with (4) wheels.
