THE COST-EFFECTIVE TUBE BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BEND RADII:

This bending machine, equipped with a free-standing bending head, can be easily converted for right- or left-handed bending, making it ideal for handling complex geometries. The plug-in bending tools allow for quick changeovers to accommodate different tube diameters. A high-speed hydraulic system reduces non-productive times—an essential factor for series production.

Clamping pressure for tube holding can be optimally adjusted. The PLC control system (expandable via USB stick) with data storage and the latest X2X interface can store an almost unlimited number of programs for bend angles, lengths, and rotation angles for up to 50 bends per tube length. A freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available for monitoring springback values.

The machine features two operating modes: In "Simple Bending," the length and rotation of the bends relative to each other are displayed automatically. In "Controlled Bending" mode, the bending data is preset, and a continuous target/actual comparison is performed during bending.

This minimizes user-dependent error rates by eliminating mispositioning within a tolerance window. General error messages are displayed in full text on the large screen. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can be automatically retracted early upon achieving the desired bend angle.

The compact drive unit with detachable mandrel support offers advantages on site, especially for custom constructions with very large tube feed lengths. It is also available in a stationary version with an integrated storage system for tools and mandrel rods. An economical alternative to fully automated CNC machines.
