The Pyrtec boiler system is an underfeed stoker with internal and burnout grate for universal applications and is suitable for an exceptionally wide range of fuels, from dry wood waste to wet forest wood chips. Max. water content w= 50% corresponds to a wood moisture content u of 100%. The complete boiler system is type-approved (Approval No.: 02-221-512) with continuous quality control by TÜV and consists of:

FEED SCREW WITH FIRE BARRIER LAYER:
The feed screw conveys the fuel into the combustion chamber and the grate area of the combustion block. The robust screw flights are made of heat-resistant chrome steel in the combustion trough area. The feed tube carries the mounts for the backfire thermostat and thermal extinguishing valve. Above the screw is the dosing container with a photoelectric sensor for level control of the fuel barrier layer required by TRD 414. The drive is provided by a maintenance-free helical gear motor and chain drive in a dustproof chain guard.

COMBUSTION BLOCK:
Heavy-duty combustion block, multiply insulated with high-quality chamotte lining. The fuel feed and grate area consists of the combustion trough, the gasification grate, and the sloped burnout grate. All these parts are made of high-heat-resistant cast steel (Mat. No. 1.4868), at least 12 mm thick, and individually replaceable. This type of primary combustion has proven highly effective even for challenging fuels (wet sawmill residues, high bark content, etc.). Ash and foreign objects falling through the grates can be conveniently removed from the outside via lid-sealed openings. The horizontal combustion chamber is optimally shaped for complete burnout and also offers a large ash space. The furnace door is solidly built, excellently insulated, and can be conveniently swung aside for maintenance using the robust double-jointed hinge.

BOILER:
Horizontal hot water boiler in three-pass design, mounted on the combustion block, insulated and elegantly clad. The insulated boiler front door allows for mounting of an oil or gas burner.

PYRTEC-140 to PYRTEC-650 FLUE GAS DUST SEPARATOR:
This unit is manufactured in axial cyclone design, fully insulated and attached to the boiler. Features 2 insulated cleaning covers, quick-release ash container, and flange for the flue gas fan.

PYRTEC-1000 FLUE GAS DUST SEPARATOR:
This unit is manufactured in axial cyclone design, fully insulated, free-standing for optimum placement. Includes 2 insulated cleaning covers, fan flange, and connection for the ash container.

FLUE GAS FAN:
Special fan for wood combustion operation, ultra-quiet, with heavy-duty, heat-resistant motor mounted with heat-dissipating hub and flexible bearing. The fan housing features continuously adjustable intake port and round discharge port.
