Machine Description:
For sale is a complete Kaltenbach saw and drilling line for processing heavy steel profiles.
The line consists of a CNC-controlled bandsaw KBS 851 DGNC and a drilling unit APS 1003, including comprehensive infeed and outfeed roller conveyors, as well as cross conveyors.

The system is currently in full operation and has been reliably used in steel fabrication until recently. It is ideally suited for efficient processing of beams and profiles in both series and project production.

This state-of-the-art CNC-controlled notching system is designed for fast thermal cutting and notching of H / U / L / flat profiles and square tubes. The steel profile is positioned at the cutting location in the machine using a pulling gripper carriage along the roller conveyor. A robotic arm fitted with cutting units (oxy-fuel or plasma) performs the cuts or notching operations at the selected position. The cut or notched, finished components either drop into the collection tray or are pushed out of the system by the measuring arm. Thermal Cutting Units: This Ficep Flex FRC 1201 beam notching system is equipped for thermal cutting using oxy-fuel and/or plasma. A Hypertherm HYPERFORMANCE PLASMA HPR 260 XD serves as the plasma power source, suitable for material thicknesses up to 32 mm. Thicker material sections or phase cuts over 32 mm are handled by the oxy-fuel cutting unit. Transport System: On the infeed side before the Ficep Flex FRC notching system, there is a chain-drag transverse conveyor with a length of 11,150 mm. The profiles (workpieces) can be conveyed in both directions. The profiles are then moved into the machine on a sturdy roller conveyor with a gripper carriage. The system is designed for profiles up to 12 m long and therefore features 12 m roller conveyors on both the infeed and outfeed sides, each with a roller conveyor width of 1,300 mm. For removal of finished parts on the outfeed side, there are four chain-drag transverse conveyors each 6,450 mm long located after the notching system. Mitrol CNC Control and Pegaso Software: The system is controlled by a modern CNC controller from Mitrol. The reliable CNC control unit is produced by Ficep's in-house supplier Mitrol and operates with Pegaso software, including remote maintenance capability and data transfer interface. Torit DCE Filter Unit: The extraction filter unit is from Donaldson Torit DCE.
