KASTO BBS A3x20

Band saw machine for processing large steel plates.

The machine is currently operational, and must be dismantled in October (to be discussed).

The machine offers two operational modes:
• Cross-cutting: Plates are inserted into the saw frame for processing across the width of the material.
• Longitudinal cutting: The saw blade rotates 45°, allowing the saw frame to move along the length of the material.

Sawing capacities in manual mode:
• Sawing height with Band Control, max.: 360 mm (14.2")
• Sawing height with pressure roller: 280 mm (11.0")
• Minimum cutting width: 10 mm (0.4")
• Maximum cutting width: 2,000 mm (78.7")
• Maximum cutting length: 7,000 mm (275.6")

• Sawing height (option), max.: 350 mm (13.8")
• Minimum trim width: 10 mm (0.4")

Saw band speed: stepless adjustment
• Standard: 13 - 130 m/min (42.6 - 426.5 ft/min)
• 14 - 75 m/min (45.9 - 246 ft/min)
• Option: 12 - 120 m/min (39.3 - 393.7 ft/min)

Feed rate: stepless adjustment
• 0.5 - 250 mm/min (0.02" - 9.8"/min)

Saw band dimensions:
