The machine is equipped as standard with central lubrication and roller guideways in the X-axis flat bed, as well as air lift-off in the grinding spindle stock.

BEMA standard features include:

- 2-axis digital readout. X-axis resolution: 0.5 μm
- Grinding spindle speed display
- Stepless speed control for the grinding spindle, 70–100%
- Stepless speed control for the internal grinding spindle, 70–100%
- Workpiece spindle drive by three-phase motor, continuously variable via frequency converter

Optional features (at extra cost):

- Encoder with digital display in the workpiece headstock
- Encoder with digital display in the grinding headstock (no height adjustment possible with spindle)
- Sine bar
- New heavy-duty internal grinding attachment, diameter 80 mm or 100 mm, with height adjustment
