This isobaric glass bottle filler was manufactured by the German company Krones in 1986-87 and commissioned in 1988. The machine is a Krones Mecafill VK2V K126-308 featuring 96 filling valves and 18 capping heads for crown cork closures. The filler has been continuously upgraded with new technology, including a Siemens S7-300 control system (retrofitted in 2009) and a Krones capper (retrofit in 2004). It is suitable for beer, cider, soft drinks, cocktails, lemonade, carbonated and still water. The machine is still in production (visible in the video) and will be dismantled by the end of September 2025. Spare parts from inventory are included in the scope of delivery.
