The SBM series compressed air blasting units are mobile machines designed for advanced surface treatment using a compressed air stream and abrasive media. Thanks to a conical bottom design which facilitates media flow, and the option to use different valve types, these units are suitable for processing all types of abrasives—spherical, round and/or angular shapes and any grain size.
SBM series blasters can achieve a surface finish up to class SA-3/SP5 and a capacity of up to 106 m²/h. The SBM sandblasters are equipped with large claw couplings to ensure fast and secure connections while maintaining high compressed air throughput. Abrasive loading is performed via a pneumatically operated rubber membrane—eliminating the need for inefficient screw connections—which makes the SBM blasting units safer and easier to use. The blaster is also equipped with a large inspection valve to allow for quick tank emptying and internal inspection. SBM series blasters enable simultaneous operation with one or two blasting nozzles (depending on the model).
Blaster control (pneumatic or electric version available) is intuitive and precise, as the control handle is located at the end of the working hose. A clear advantage of this solution is that the operator performing the cleaning can shut down the machine as required by the latest health and safety regulations (available as an optional feature).
