The EGS is a 1020 mm long automatically adjustable back gauge for folding machines. It features a servo motor and belt drive on both sides. Achieving accurate positioning between 2 and 1020 mm takes less than 2 seconds. The first row of support plates is made of spring steel as standard. With a single pedal press, all supports can be automatically lowered, preventing the material from hitting the back gauge when rotating it on the work table. Optionally, a different back gauge is available—FLEXIBLE, with a depth of 1550 mm – 4200 mm (see Options section).
