Attention - Do not purchase used metallography equipment! Anyone familiar with metallography knows: “used” unfortunately means “worn out”: Unless these machines are thoroughly cleaned every day, their heavy workload will lead to total failure within just a few years.

The ECOPRESS 102 is a fully automatic hot mounting press with an electrohydraulic pressure system, so no separate compressed air connection is required. Operating pressure reaches up to 300 bar and embedding temperature up to 200°C. The embedding time is programmable up to 60 minutes. Due to the fully automatic cycle and integrated automatic cooling, short cycle times are achieved: Thermostatically controlled heating and cooling times, 1650 W heating power, automatic cooling cycle.

The ECOPRESS 102 mounting press is supplied with a pressing cylinder and a piston (option: intermediate piston for two samples) with diameters of 25 / 30 / 40 / 50 mm (and inch sizes). (The ECOPRESS 202 comes with two mounting cylinders.) The end of the mounting cycle is indicated by an acoustic signal. The delivery includes everything ready for operation (including the pressing cylinder, piston, and intermediate piston for two samples required for your application). Required connections: 230V / 50 Hz, single phase (220V), water inlet and outlet.
