Attention – do not buy used metallographic equipment! Anyone experienced in metallography knows: in this field, 'used' unfortunately means 'spent': Abrasive particles can (unless thoroughly cleaned daily) lead to total machine failure within just a few years.

The METACUT 302 is the most affordable quality wet abrasive cut-off machine available on the market. The cutting operation is performed entirely manually via the hand lever on the right side. Manual cutting is often the most efficient method, and the job is finished before an automatic cut-off saw is even programmed. To enable cutting of extremely long workpieces, a side pass-through opening has been added to the left side of the machine.
