UniCen Series – for large, complex components

With the Monforts UniCen Series 1000 machine tools, you can machine large, complex components (up to 1,500 mm turning length and 1,000 mm swing diameter) completely, process-reliably, and cost-efficiently in a single setup. High flexibility is ensured by the five interpolating axes. The boring-milling head, which swivels around the B-axis with a 190º swivel range, brings tools into virtually any position and angle to the workpiece. In addition, the tool head can be equipped fully automatically via a chain magazine tool changer with 60 tools. This enables even complex free-form surfaces to be machined with high surface quality.
