Ceramic media are particularly suitable for the machining of hard materials such as steel, but are also ideal for deburring processes on aluminum components. Thanks to their higher weight, they exert greater pressure on the workpieces and deliver excellent grinding performance. Compared to plastic media, they are significantly more durable and cost-effective.

When selecting the right grinding medium, it is important to choose the optimal configuration in terms of grinding performance, surface finish, geometry, and size.

- Triangles & Triangles with Bevel (D & DS): The edges make them ideal for deburring and for reaching a variety of complex areas on the workpiece.

- Tridents (DZ): Also suitable for hard-to-reach places, such as grooves or gearwheels.

- Cylinders & Cylinders with Bevel (Z & ZS): Their round shape ensures uniform surface finishing, making them ideal for polishing applications. The slender design of cylinders often allows for effective separation.

- Ellipses & Ellipses with Bevel (E & ES): Also suitable for polishing and smoothing. Their corners make it possible to reach deeper areas on the workpieces.
