Octofrost IQF 7/2 LH Tunnel Freezer on Ammonia (NH3) in Excellent Condition.

The IQF (Individually Quick Freezing) technology is specifically designed for rapidly freezing small pieces of food. This process helps to prevent ice crystal formation in the cellular structure of products such as vegetables, berries, cheese, meat, and fish. The freezer is supplied complete with infeed/outfeed conveyors, control cabinets, evaporators, and a Siemens Simatic panel control system. Products are fed onto the infeed belt at a height of approximately 1560 mm. They are then conveyed through the Octofrost by means of a vibrating belt. The belt features a drop to separate products and remove excess surface ice. The belt is approximately 8100 mm long and 850 mm wide. Once the product has been frozen to the correct core temperature, it exits at a height of 1250 mm. The freezer is equipped with three inspection hatches to allow inspection of the product while on the belt.

The OctoFrost is fitted with two NH3 evaporators, ensuring the product is frozen to a core temperature of -18°C. There are seven centrifugal fans, each directly driven by an ABB M3AA 132 MB electric motor with the following specifications: 50 Hz - 11 kW - 1450 RPM - 630 mm diameter. These fans force air upwards through the holes in the belt, preventing the product from sticking to the belt. The side panel is extendable, allowing for easy inspection and cleaning of the evaporators and fans when necessary.

Additionally, the Octofrost is delivered with the associated control cabinet, featuring seven ABB frequency converters for the conveyor belts, three Key Technology MFS 268 XL frequency converters for the belt vibration, and a Siemens panel for freezer control.
