In 2023, the cable carrier for the W axis including all hoses was replaced.
In October 2024, linear guides X/Y/Z were renewed.
Work performed by Okuma:
Machine cleaned.
Covers and sheet metal dismantled.
8th axis removed.
Column dismantled and removed from the machine. ATC removed and lifted out of the machine.
All linear guides removed.
Mounting surfaces of ZA-axis cleaned.
New ZA linear guide including carriages installed and tightened to specified torque.
New ZA ball screw incl. bearings assembled and installed.
Base plate of the column installed and tightened to specified torque and bolted to the carriages. Lubrication lines connected.
ATC including attachment parts fitted and connected.
New YA and XA linear guides installed and tightened to corresponding torque. New YA ball screw incl. bearings fitted.
Column mounted and lubrication lines connected. XA base plate placed and aligned.
8th axis mounted and aligned.
H1 turret installed
- 8th axis drive motor installed
- 8th axis and new H1 assembly and geometry adjustment
- Functional test 8th axis and H1
- Run-in program for B axis approx. 12h, then drain old oil from 8th axis
- Run-in program for H1 and defect report for OEG to be prepared
- Left door installed, various sheet metal adapted
- Chuck installed
- Zero points adjusted
- Tool changer checked
