Perceptron ScanWorks V5

The ScanWorks V5 offers the largest field of view currently available on a state-of-the-art line scanner.
The portable ScanWorks scanning system combines the user-friendliness of portable CMM arms with the advanced scanning technology from Perceptron.
The V5 is capable of capturing 458,400 points per second with a minimum point-to-point resolution of 12 microns.

Additional features of the V5 include:

Wide field of view: 140 mm and 110 mm
Projected rangefinder: Projects an accurate, trapezoidal representation of the field of view and the optimal scan offset distance—enabling users to familiarize themselves with best scanning practices.
Dynamic range: Accurately captures data on dark and reflective surfaces, eliminating the need for white powder sprays.
The sensor is impervious to ambient light.
This lightweight scanner (340 g) can rapidly capture large, geometrically complex areas with direct integration into your PolyWorks configuration.

Benefits of contactless SharkScan laser scanning:

Non-contact laser scanning prevents damage to sensitive surfaces or deformation of thin or soft materials.
Real-time inspection enables quick identification of defects, allowing for immediate correction. Ideally suited for generating point clouds for reverse engineering (via PolyWorks Modeler).
