Approximately six months ago, the cross roller bearing on the Carnaghi was replaced.
Additionally, all Siemens components in the control cabinet were completely renewed at the end of 2023.
The machine is equipped with a probe for tool measurement and an external Renishaw probe for workpiece measurement.
As a special feature, the machine is also fitted with a probe on the Z axis (Z1 axis). This provides an accuracy and time advantage, as the tool does not have to be removed for measurement. However, this system is currently deactivated and should be overhauled before recommissioning.
Furthermore, the machine has a Rotomors six-jaw compensating lever chuck with centrifugal force compensation, which was completely overhauled in 2020/21.

The machine can be demonstrated under power/chip upon request.
