Status: undergoing complete overhaul.

The PORĘBA TR-135 lathe is a universal machine tool designed for both roughing and finishing operations. It is ideally suited for turning shafts as well as heavy, large-size components.

The offered machine is currently in the process of a complete overhaul – the last photo shows its present condition. The other photographs display TR series lathes after complete overhauls carried out by our company and delivered to end users – they serve as a reference for the target quality and workmanship standard.

Scope of overhaul:
- Complete disassembly of the lathe
- Refurbishment and replacement of worn components
- Calibration of trapezoidal lead screws and production of new bronze nuts
- Replacement of bearings and sliding bushings, including all spindle bearings with new ones
- Grinding of bed, carriage, and cross-slide guideways, followed by scraping of mating surfaces (using friction materials)

- Refurbishment of tailstock quill
- Refurbishment of the tool post
- Overhaul and modernization of lubrication and cooling systems
- Electrical scope: construction of a new control cabinet, complete new machine wiring, and replacement of all electrical components with new ones
- Inspection of electric motors including replacement of bearings with new ones
- New paintwork
- Upon completion of the overhaul: trial assembly, preliminary acceptance at our facility, machine placement on foundation, leveling, and final acceptance
- Adaptation of the lathe to meet minimum safety requirements in accordance with current EU Directives
