The robust Junior R1 offers all the features expected from a modern edge sanding machine – a massive cast iron sanding unit with a powerful motor ensures top sanding performance. The height-adjustable worktable, regulated by spring pressure, allows for optimal belt utilization and safe operation. Upper section made of heavy cast construction with built-in three-phase motor, 380 V, 2.2 kW, 2850 rpm. The machine is equipped with an integrated switch-plug combination, motor protection switch, and main switch according to VDE standards. Sanding belt backing dimensions: 850 x 150 mm. Height-adjustable steel worktable with spring pressure. Belt dimensions: 150 x 2280 mm. The sanding belt backing is coated for improved operation. When connected to a central extraction system with a minimum airspeed of 20 m/s, the machine is GS-certified for dust control. Includes angle and mitre gauge.
