The TWISTER rotor mill has been specially designed for sample preparation of food products (e.g., feed) for NIR analysis. The optimally shaped rotor and grinding chamber generate an air stream that transports the ground material into an integrated cyclone with a sample collection bottle. This airflow protects the sample from overheating, allowing grinding without moisture loss.

The accessories supplied with the device ensure optimal sample homogenization, eliminating the need for recalibrating the NIR spectrometer. One of three rotor speeds can be selected to perfectly adapt the device to specific application requirements. Cleaning the mill is fast and easy, as the airflow completely removes material from the grinding chamber.
