Transport systems
Depending on the customer's requirements, transport systems can be either floor-based or suspended from rails.
- For convenient solutions in manual installations, we recommend suspended cross-transfer systems (lateral transport).
- In automated systems, chain conveyors are most commonly used. These systems operate continuously without stopping, making them an excellent solution for businesses focused on process quality and repeatability.
- For companies manufacturing a variety of products simultaneously, such as those with multiple booths for different paint colors, flexible solutions using power-and-free conveyors are implemented. This is the most expensive option.
All installations are custom-made according to customer requirements. Continuous suspended chain transport systems are designed and manufactured to the client’s specifications.
Within this system, it is also possible to provide floor conveyor systems to transport items such as flowerpots or rims (see photo). ROMER also manufactures suspended transport systems.

Photoelectric cell application
The use of a photoelectric cell in the detail zone allows for measurement of the part’s length, enabling the automatic activation of spray guns when the part is within range and their immediate deactivation after coating.
