It is especially suitable as a 4th axis on engraving and milling machines for engraving, laser processing, drilling, slotting, keyway milling, or for use on a tool or surface grinding machine.

Precision worm gear with a 50:1 reduction ratio.

The worm and worm wheel are manufactured in-house, ensuring maximum adjustment precision. The pair is fourfold ball-bearing mounted, backlash-free, but adjustable.

The robust output spindle is fitted with a faceplate d=108 mm, with internal Morse taper MK1 and a through hole of 10.5 mm, optionally with internal M12 thread.

The electronic control is supplied as a handy module with a foot switch for forward/reverse operation, including power supply and emergency stop. The rotation speed can be set from 0–50 rpm according to the scale. Speed adjustment responds instantly during axis rotation. The direction of rotation is selected via the foot switch: the right switch rotates the axis clockwise, the left switch counterclockwise.

Pressing the foot switch accelerates the axis to the set speed; releasing the switch slows the axis down again.

Ideal for laser welding on Hermle, Trumpf, Haas, Maho, Deckel FP1, G1, or Gravograph machines.
