S&F chipping machines and drum chippers with horizontal feed are used in numerous sectors of the wood processing industry (sawmills, woodworks). Chippers from the "ATH" series produce high-quality, homogeneous wood chips from residual wood with a low proportion of fines, for example as quality wood chips for the pulp industry or as fuel chips for energy generation.
