For sale is a used temperature calibrator from the manufacturer Sika, located in Kaufungen (Made in Germany).
The device was successfully used exclusively as a micro bath/oil bath in our calibration laboratory and is no longer needed. No additional accessories are included, but these can be obtained from the manufacturer. (Other measuring equipment shown in the pictures is not part of this offer.)

Micro bath function
When temperature sensors with unusual shapes and sizes need to be checked, the use of calibration fluids offers advantages. The test item is placed directly into the fluid without insulating air gaps, ensuring direct temperature transfer between the calibrator and the item under test. The calibration fluid, e.g., silicone oil, is selected according to the required calibration temperature. The infinitely-variable magnetic stirrer, in conjunction with the removable sensor basket, stirs the calibration fluid and generates a large test zone. The sensor basket also ensures uninterrupted stirring and protects the tank bottom.
Dry block function
The dry block function was developed to enable easy temperature calibration in both laboratory and field environments. Optimal thermal coupling between the block and the item under test is achieved by using the correct insert sleeve. Ideally, the bore in the sleeve should have an internal diameter 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the test specimen. With the help of the insert sleeve, almost all straight temperature sensors of varying lengths and diameters can be calibrated. The dry block covers the entire temperature range without the need to change calibration media. Users do not need to consider viscosities, flash points, or off-gassing.
Blackbody function
For calibration of IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras, a patented infrared calibration sleeve is used. Its special surface structure and asymmetrical shapes create a ‘black cavity radiator’ with an emission factor of 0.9994, preventing the reflection of interfering radiation and emitting the desired temperature ideally. The pyrometer is simply held at the prescribed distance above the measuring opening, creating the desired measuring spot for calibration on the base. Direct mounting of a tripod is possible.
Surface temperature function
Surface temperature sensors can be calibrated using special sleeves that are applied vertically with the required contact pressure. The best possible reference temperature point on the surface of the sleeve is achieved by switching the calibrator control to the external reference sensor.
