Robust and durable steel construction in a rigid connection – no torsion-prone design caused by, for example, a split construction of bending head and mandrel carrier. Maintenance-free electromechanical drive of the bending axis. The control’s touch display allows for easy and intuitive programming and operation of the system. Once the tube is fed in, it is clamped in place in the carriage by the chuck, ensuring exact tube positioning and enabling the production of dimensionally accurate geometries. Also standard is a tube geometry check before the bending process: If the bending process is started at the wrong position, the machine does not grant approval, thus preventing operator errors. Optional additional features provide greater comfort and increase output, thereby improving system efficiency.
Data exchange from the optional tube calculation software TBS-3D (PC version) is performed via USB stick or by FTP access of the computer to the machine control. USB or LAN (RJ45) ports are standard. Existing tube geometries can be easily and quickly converted, e.g., via the STEP format.
