Quality machine with induction-hardened guideways, torsion-resistant bed, main spindle made of chrome-nickel steel, gears induction-hardened and ground, automatic circulation lubrication in the headstock, slip clutch in the carriage, bed lubrication via hand pump, Siemens electrics. Thread feeds for metric, inch, module, and diametral pitch threads.
3-axis digital readout: 2 scales are installed, the scale on the top slide has been renewed but still needs to be mounted. The display is designed for lathes and therefore, with the appropriate setting, adds together the longitudinal travel of the carriage and the top slide.
Machine was only used sporadically in a prototype workshop. Year of manufacture is estimated.
