• Machine completely overhauled in 1998, upgraded with SIEMENS S7-300 PLC control. All motors replaced, with workpiece drive as well as wheelhead feed equipped with servo drives. Complete new electrics and essential hydraulic elements fitted. Modern operator panel with pushbuttons and interface retrofitted.
• Automatic grinding cycle for longitudinal and plunge grinding. All grinding parameters input digitally on the SIEMENS OP 77A control panel, electronic handwheel integrated for infeed axis.
• MPM microprocessor-based wheel balancing system type AB300SM3.C, with balancing head mounted on flange and control module BM240M mounted on the operator panel (retrofitted in 2019)
• Infinitely variable workpiece drive speed with digital display
• Wheel dressing unit mounted on tailstock
• 3 open steady rests
• Separate electrical cabinet, separate hydraulic unit, accessory parts, operating manuals

Condition: Very good – machine has been maintained and inspected twice a year. Fully powered demonstration possible at short notice.
